The EcoOx^TM oxygen sparging system from Calcon Systems is an automated, turnkey system that delivers high pressure, high flow compressed oxygen via multiple automated output valves for in-situ soil and groundwater remediation.

The EcoOxTM system is designed to remediate contaminants at gas stations, bulk terminals, dry cleaners, pipeline locations, manufacturing facilities, and underground storage tank sites by increasing the oxygen levels in the groundwater.   As opposed to other oxygenation methodologies, such as oxygen injection, oxygen sparging involves pushing as much oxygen through the groundwater as possible to enhance underground biological growth and thereby reduce contaminant levels.

The EcoOx^TM system generates oxygen continuously, and injects into one well at a time to ensure control and deliver the highest gas flow and pressure the system is capable of.  This approach creates turbulence at the sparging area and increases mixing of the oxygen gas with groundwater.  Sparging to each individual well also allows time for oxygen dispersion and dissolution around the well while sparging is completed to the rest of the wells in the cycle. 

EcoOx^TM oxygen sparging systems are fully integrated and PLC automated skids that provide a high-pressure stream of pure (~93%) oxygen gas though automated output ports. An onboard air compressor and oxygen generator are included and fully integrated.  Users view and control operating pressures, the gas flow rate, cycle times, total sparge hours, calculated sparge pounds of gas delivered, and diagnostics for each individual output port via the 6” color touch screen. The system logs alarms and historical data of operating values to a USB memory stick for importing into a spreadsheet, and color graphs of historical data trends can be viewed on-screen to track system performance.  These logging features save considerable time when preparing site reports.  Our unique, intuitive controls allow for a far more effective and efficient remediation system compared to any alternative solutions.

Available in standard models ranging from 180 lbs/day to 360 lbs/day oxygen output, EcoOx^TM standard designs can be tailored to unique site needs on an individual basis, and we always welcome custom specification requests.
